The report issued by the Residential Program for last May revealed that the number of beneficiary families since the beginning of this year reached 66,180 thousand families within Residential Program while the number of families who have lived in their homes since the beginning of the year reached 79.671 thousand families, and the report indicated that the total number of real estate transaction tax certificates for the first home since the beginning of the program until the end of last month amounted to 678.260 thousand certificates.

The report reviewed the housing and financing solutions provided by the program, which includes subsidized mortgage loans in cooperation with banks and financial institutions to buy ready-made housing units under construction or self-construction for those who own land, and reserving residential lands within the plans of the “Sakani” program. This comes in continuation of the ongoing efforts to enable Saudi families to own their first home, in order to achieve the goals of the housing program - one of the programs of the Kingdom Vision 2030 - to reach 70 percent ownership rate by 2030.

The "Sakany" report included details of construction updates in more than 90 projects that provide more than 120 thousand housing units under construction, which began implementation in partnership with private sector real estate developers in all regions and cities of the Kingdom within 119 projects that provide more than 150 thousand units between apartments, villas and townhouses at an average price of 750 thousand riyals.

The report dealt with residential lands and the development of plans, where the "Sakani" website and application allows land reservation and the issuance of contracts electronically, within 223 residential plans that provide more than 180,000 residential lands distributed in various regions and cities of the Kingdom, and can be viewed by visiting the electronic platform of the "Sakani" program.
