His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, revealed that the investment opportunities available to Al-Ahsa Municipality on the ”Opportunities” portal reached 362 opportunities in 2021, an increase of 53% from 2020, with a total value of more than 275 million riyals, indicating that the investment opportunities available to Al-Ahsa this year reached 112 investment opportunities.

He explained that the investment opportunities currently available on the "ForUs" portal for various regions of the Kingdom exceed 2400 various opportunities between investment competitions and leasing opportunities in various available activities, which can be competed for in easy and automated ways through the ForUs portal that brings together more than 25 thousand investors, where the platform previously offered more than 23 thousand investment opportunities.

He pointed out that there is an advisory committee for investment in the municipal sector that includes a group of private sector representatives to benefit from their expertise in developing the investment system and attracting investors to achieve the development goals of Saudi cities, pointing out that the investment opportunities available in the cities and governorates of the Kingdom are presented through the municipal investment platform "Opportunities" and the ministry's social media accounts, and investment opportunities are presented through local, regional and international forums and exhibitions specialized in investment.
