The “Sakani” program announced today that it is offering 2,670 free plots of land to beneficiaries as part of housing plans previously announced on its website, inviting beneficiaries interested in the option of obtaining free land to visit the website and select the appropriate plan and plot for reservation, as part of its efforts to develop digital solutions that make it easier for citizens to find suitable housing.

The program revealed that the plots offered are located within 13 residential plans, distributed across four regions, namely: (Riyadh, Eastern Province, Makkah, and Hail). The Riyadh region includes 6 developments, 3 of which are in Al-Dawadmi Governorate, offering a total of 626 plots, and one development in Al-Quway’iyah comprising 281 plots, one in Afif offering 112 plots, and one in Thadig offering 53 plots. The Eastern Province included five development plans, three of which were in Al-Olia Village, offering a total of 733 plots, and two in Hafar Al-Batin, offering a total of 550 plots, The Hail region also included one development located in the Baqaa Governorate, offering 49 plots, while the Makkah region—specifically the Taif Governorate—had one development offering 266 plots.
“Sakani” explained that infrastructure work is underway in these developments, adding that beneficiaries can visit the “Sakani” website, select “Housing Solutions,” , then click on the "Free Residential Plots" option, and select the development that best suits their needs. It noted that it will continue to provide all necessary support to citizens from all segments of society to enable them to obtain suitable housing that meets their needs, thereby increasing the homeownership rate to 70% by 2030, in line with the targets of the Housing Program, one of the initiatives to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

It should be noted that the “Sakani” program offers beneficiaries several housing and financing options, including ready-to-move-in housing units within the Ministry’s projects, as well as units under construction in partnership with qualified real estate developers. This is in addition to the option to purchase ready-to-move-in housing units on the open market, self-construction for those who own land, or refinancing existing mortgages through subsidized mortgage loans in partnership with banks and financial institutions, as well as the option of free land plots provided to beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom.
