The Sustainable Construction Program recorded a significant increase in the number of technical reports related to the services it provided during the first half of 2022 compared to the same period last year, with an increase exceeding 3,80% this year.
The program explained that the services it provides include (issuing technical inspection reports to verify compliance with the Saudi Building Code and the requirements of the relevant authorities for completed buildings and projects under construction, and assessing contractors" compliance with classification standards), with the number of reports issued during the first half of 2022 approaching 3,500.
The program offers a range of other services, such as the “construction quality inspection” service, which enables prospective clients— —whether real estate developers or individuals—to verify the quality and safety of construction operations through an inspection mechanism carried out by certified inspecting engineers.
