Published by Housing Program of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing has issued 15,113 electronic contracts for free residential land to Saudi families benefiting from the program from the beginning of 2022 through the end of last July via its mobile app.
The program stated in a press release that the land contracts covered 3,803 plots in the Makkah region, 3,241 plots in the Riyadh region, 2,396 plots in the Eastern Province, 1,145 plots in the Qassim region, 1,102 plots in the Najran region, 932 plots in the Jazan region, and 842 plots in the Asir region, 649 plots in the Ha’il region, 478 plots in the Madinah region, 142 plots in the Northern Border region, 191 plots in the Al-Baha region, 106 plots in the Al-Jawf region, and 86 plots in the Tabuk region.
The “Sakani” program confirmed that this number is an extension of previously issued electronic land contracts within the plans made available by the “Sakani” website and app for families benefiting from housing support in all cities and regions of the Kingdom, through simplified electronic procedures. It explained that the procedures for reserving and inspecting land sites and plans can be completed through the program’s website.
The program noted that it continues to deliver residential land to eligible citizens in all developments listed on the online portal, and is working to provide services to these areas in cooperation with relevant authorities, while continuing to advance the housing sector and achieve its objectives by supporting Saudi families and enabling them to own or benefit from their first home.
