His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail honored 46 real estate developers, including 15 new developers who moved from contracting to real estate development, and 31 developers who went through the journey of support and empowerment during the «First Forum for Transformation and Empowerment Programs for Real Estate Developers».

During the forum, His Excellency launched the "Digital Tool Platform" aimed at creating an innovative electronic environment that contributes to the advancement of the real estate sector, in addition to sponsoring the signing of a number of agreements between the Ministry and entities from the public and private sectors.

For his part, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Badeer emphasized that The transformation and empowerment programs launched by the ministry for real estate developers aim to prepare and qualify contractors wishing to transform into real estate developers, develop their capabilities and empower them, which reflects positively on the real estate development industry and strengthen the partnership with the private sector, which in turn contributes to increasing the supply of residential real estate and meeting the growing demand for housing from Saudi families.

Badeer explained that the ministry seeks through the "transformation and empowerment" programs to provide the appropriate investment environment for real estate development companies, find the best solutions and enablers to improve the output of real estate projects, and increase the percentage of qualified enterprises in the real estate market.
