Ministry of Housing plans to market 20,000 housing units in Sharqiya

More than 20,000 housing units in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province are being prepared to be marketed by the Ministry of Housing to citizens eligible for housing support after they are qualified and evaluated in accordance with the ministry's specifications and conditions.

This comes against the backdrop of the Ministry of Housing inviting real estate developers who have completed housing projects, or under construction, to apply to it to market them to citizens eligible for housing support.

Real estate professionals estimate that the Ministry of Housing's partnership with the private sector will benefit about 200,000 citizens in various regions, according to the total number of housing loans available for purchase or construction, and will be disbursed in installments.

According to the Ministry of Housing, there are 754,571 citizens, including 713,739 men and 40,831 women, most of whom are government employees with 451,044 citizens, and 150,318 eligible citizens working in the private sector.

The number of people eligible for housing support in all cities of the Kingdom is 754,571 citizens.
