Al Muhaidib Group has successfully concluded its discussions with Abyat Megastore Company (a Kuwaiti closed joint stock company) and signed an agreement to acquire 35% of the company, which started its commercial activity in March 2008 to provide all home needs from building materials, finishing and furniture under one roof, and was established in Kuwait with the contribution of a group of companies and businessmen including Al Marzooq Group, Al Thuwaini Holding Company, Khalid Hassan Abel and Sheikh Abdullah Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah.

Al Muhaidib Group's spokesperson Meshaal Bin Mohammed Al Saleh said. <Al Muhaidib Group spokesperson Meshal bin Mohammed Al Saleh said: The group succeeded in acquiring 35% of the parent company in Kuwait, after which Al Muhaidib Group became the strategic partner of the company.

The signing ceremony was attended by Sulaiman bin Abdul Qader Al Muhaidib, Chairman of Al Muhaidib Group, Essam bin Abdul Qader Al Muhaidib, CEO, Issam bin Abdul Qader Al Muhaidib, Masdar Chairman Raed Ibrahim Al Madhiem, Khalid Hassan Abel, Chairman of Abyat, Nawaf Ahmed Al Marzooq, Vice Chairman of Abyat, and a group of shareholders and founders, with Amwal International Investment Company acting as financial advisor in completing the procedures of this transaction, subject to approval by the official authorities.
