Al Rajhi Steel at the annual career day at the University of Petroleum and Minerals

Under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince / Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, the 32nd Annual Career Day was held in the presence of the President of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Sultan, with the participation of a large number of companies and institutions from both the public and private sectors.

Al-Rajhi Steel participated in the 32nd Annual Career Day, organized by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. The event opened last Monday, 15 Rajab 1436 AH, and will continue for four days, at the university’s campus in Dhahran.

His Highness toured the booths of the participating organizations, where he was received by Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Hadeeb, Vice President of Procurement and Supply, at the Al-Rajhi Steel booth, where he received an overview of Al-Rajhi Steel’s key offerings, including information and services for students and graduates, as well as the career opportunities available there. His Highness commended the efforts of the university and the participating organizations in the Career Day.

Engineer Mahdi bin Nasser Al-Qahtani, CEO of Al-Rajhi Steel, emphasized that the company’s participation in this event stems from its social responsibilities and commitments, and its commitment to attracting qualified Saudi talent in the industrial sector and preparing them for specialized and supervisory roles, in coordination with universities, institutes, organizations, and centers with which the company is keen to build strategic relationships. He also explained that the company offers numerous training programs to develop graduates’ potential, ensures they acquire the appropriate qualifications, and provides them with the most suitable environment for both theoretical and practical training.

For his part, Mr. Al-Hadeeb said that Al-Rajhi Steel’s participation stems from its strategic direction and is aimed at achieving its goals of attracting Saudi talent to fill leadership, specialized, and supervisory roles in the industrial sector, and aims to introduce university students in general—and graduates in particular—to the career and training opportunities available at the company, as well as to increase their understanding of the nature of the job market, its evolving needs, and the level of qualifications required of graduates.
