The Ministry of Commerce, represented by the Off-Map Sales Program, supervised the sale of more than 17,000 real estate units, as part of its supervisory tasks on real estate development projects in the off-plan sales system during the first quarter of 2015, and more than 80 tours were carried out that included following up the progress of projects and monitoring their implementation in each of the Makkah region, the Riyadh region, and the Eastern Province.

The ministry has started processing more than thirty reports received by the program on real estate development companies and other real estate companies that violated the license system for marketing real estate outside the Kingdom, where they were investigated and the necessary measures were taken against them.

<It is worth noting that the off-plan sales program is one of the ways of owning a property that allows the buyer to obtain the property at a lower cost, in addition to allowing the real estate developer to obtain direct financing through the buyers' payments. It should be noted that the program licenses the sale of real estate units on the map, regardless of their purpose, the sale of land on the map, the marketing of real estate on the map outside and inside the Kingdom, and the display of real estate units on the map in exhibitions.
