A recent survey, in which more than 1,000 executives specializing in artificial intelligence or climate change mitigation initiatives participated, that 40% of organizations will be able to use artificial intelligence in their efforts to protect the environment.

According to the “AI for the Planet Alliance” survey, experts agreed that significant challenges continue to limit the ability to adopt AI on a large scale:

78% of participants noted that a lack of AI expertise poses a real obstacle to using this technology to advance efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change, while 77% cited the limited availability of AI solutions as one of the main challenges in this context, in addition to a lack of trust in AI-related data and analytics, according to 67%.
