Real Estate Exhibitions: An International Platform
Dr. Mons Shujaa
Real estate exhibitions and conferences are one component of what is known as the marketing mix, through which companies seek to establish direct communication with their target customers—either for marketing purposes, direct sales to them, or for brokers from agencies or partners.
These exhibitions—particularly international real estate exhibitions—often involve the conclusion of several deals and the signing of cooperation agreements or partnerships between exhibitors from different companies, which is known as B2B ((Business to Business), as well as between companies and relevant government entities—known as B2G (Business to Government)—during which companies sign contracts to supply goods or services to the government or its authorized agencies.
On the other hand, exhibitions provide consumers with an opportunity to explore numerous real estate offerings from competing companies, choose among them, and make purchases—a process known as B2C (Business to Customer), At the same time, they give customers the opportunity to connect with decision-makers at these companies and share opinions and suggestions, which often reflect customers’ perspectives on the companies and their products.
These exhibitions also feature various events, as well as workshops designed to inform the public and consumers about the latest developments in construction regulations, real estate financing, and other future projects, and to raise awareness of the services and facilities offered that are intended to strengthen the real estate market and increase its contribution to the national economy, God willing.
It is worth noting that one of the Kingdom’s most important and longest-standing real estate exhibitions is scheduled to take place in the coming days in Jeddah: the Restatex Real Estate Exhibition (Restatex), which will be held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing and aims to highlight the role of the real estate sector in the Kingdom.
