To streamline operations for 1,700 accredited engineering firms, the General Secretariat of the Review Committees signed property ownership applications “Ehkam,” a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Council of Engineers. The agreement aims to expedite the surveying procedures for real estate ownership applications through the “Ehkam” platform.
Ahmed Al-Saqr, Secretary General of “Ehkam,” noted that this memorandum contributes to the development and integration of operations with relevant authorities regarding property ownership and modification applications, achieve common goals, and intensify efforts to provide support and assistance to beneficiaries applying for property ownership, as well as to develop mechanisms and procedures for submitting applications to improve the beneficiary experience.
For his part, the Acting Secretary-General of the Saudi Council of Engineers, Engineer Abdulnasser Al-Abdullatif, highlighted the importance of cooperation with relevant entities in supporting the engineering services ecosystem, This joint cooperation between the Authority and the platform also aims to enhance the participation of engineering offices through “Ihkam,” which contributes to raising the level of their performance and the services they provide regarding surveying surveys.
