With the participation of more than 550 companies from 43 countries from around the world and the Kingdom, the 32nd edition of Saudi Construction Show will be held from November 14 to 17, 2022, under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, in conjunction with the International Contracting Conference.

A unique platform specialized in the construction sector

<On this occasion, Mohammed Al-Husseini, Executive Advisor of Riyadh Exhibitions Company Limited, explained during a press conference held on the occasion of announcing the launch of the events that the Saudi Construction Exhibition will showcase innovative construction technologies and solutions, inspiring progress in the construction sector, and featuring the latest technologies in the field of materials science. Al-Husseini added that the exhibition is held in conjunction with the Saudi Electricity and Renewable Energy Exhibition, the Saudi Stone and Marble Exhibition and the Saudi Heavy Equipment Exhibition, making it a unique platform dedicated to the construction sector that will provide opportunities and business prospects for investors wishing to enter the Saudi market.

Attracting international companies

The Saudi Building Exhibition has succeeded in attracting several companies such as the Saudi Institution of Engineers, the Saudi Contracting Authority and the Saudi Building Code as supporting partners, Elegancia Arabia as a platinum sponsor, Gold Sponsor for the Petroleum Demand Sustainability Program, Saudi Ceramics Company, Milano, Golden Goal and Al-Ambat Contracting Company, and Air Distribution Systems Solutions, SAFED.

The exhibition includes a number of accompanying discussion sessions in which a group of senior leaders, executives and experts in the field of real estate and construction, as well as academics and specialists participate in several discussion sessions over the two days of the exhibition related to urban construction, smart cities, sustainability and building technology.

Projects worth 4.87 trillion riyals

<Saudi Arabia is witnessing an unprecedented boom in construction and megaprojects that will reshape the future of the Kingdom and the region. Mega projects funded by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), royal authorities, relevant ministries, the private sector and the construction sector are leading the construction sector towards a plethora of opportunities and mega projects valued at more than SAR 4.87 trillion in the pipeline; the private sector is experiencing a sustainable and resilient recovery, leading the construction sector towards major business opportunities; public and private sector housing projects are booming on a large scale in an effort to bridge the gap between housing supply and demand, providing an opportunity for the construction sector in excess of SAR 3.75 billion.
