The Fund’s Director General, Engineer Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Zaghibi, confirmed the approval of debt forgiveness for the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th groups of deceased borrowers after their families submitted their applications through the online program and completed the required information. The Fund has now finalized completed the procedures for full repayment of their loans and the issuance of letters of mortgage release for their properties. This involved 1,076 citizens across the Kingdom’s cities and provinces, with a total value exceeding 274 million riyals. This batch included applicants up to application number 93225. Hamoud Al-Osaimi, Director of Public Relations and the Fund’s official spokesperson, stated that, under the direction of the Minister of Housing, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and with the oversight of the Director General, the Fund was committed to swiftly finalizing the procedures for exempting the deceased in accordance with the regulations specified in the Royal Decree.
He noted that coordination has taken place with the branches of the Ministry of Justice to facilitate the procedures for applicants in this regard, and that the heirs of the deceased whose names are included in these batches may visit the notary public office responsible for the mortgaged property to complete the procedures for releasing theas soon as possible to ensure that their deceased relatives’ debts are settled and their properties are released.
