Municipal Investment Forum kicks off its second edition in Riyadh

The second edition of the Municipal Investment Forum «Opportunities» at the Exhibition and Conference Center in Riyadh Front.

The forum, organized by Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing over the course of three days, to showcase a range of investment opportunities offered by municipal secretariats, municipalities, and government agencies, and to broaden the pool of bidders by attracting capital investments to help improve the quality of life in Saudi cities.

The Municipal Investment Forum “Fursat 2023” has presented more than 5,000 investment opportunities across various economic sectors, in addition to panel discussions featuring a number of leaders, specialists, and experts. More than 200 dedicated booths were set up to showcase startup projects to investors at the “Fursat” Municipal Investment Forum.

The agenda for the first day of the conference includes a speech by the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and the launch of the Saudi Cities Investment Portal.

The day’s agenda also includes a number of panel discussions addressing the role of investment in the development of Saudi cities, privatization opportunities in the municipal sector, and the role of municipal authorities in urban development.

The events of the second edition of Municipal Investment Forum, as well as panel discussions on the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises in urban economic development, the importance of investments in improving the quality of life in Saudi cities, and the National Investment Strategy.

The forum aims to increase the private sector’s contribution to urban development by stimulating local investment and attracting foreign investment that contributes to improving the quality of life in cities, thereby enabling the implementation of sectoral and regional strategies.
