The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources signed an agreement withthe Digital Government Authority , within the framework of activating the concept of comprehensive government and supporting the digital transformation plan for the industrial sector, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, and the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, Engineer Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Suwayan.
The agreement aims to support the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources by unifying and integrating the industry sector platforms, providing consultations and services related to digital government, supporting the sector’s digital transformation plan by activating the concept of comprehensive government, developing the customer experience journey, and joint digital products for the industry sector, in order to contribute to improving the experience of beneficiaries and investors in the industrial sector, in addition to raising the efficiency of spending on digital business.
The agreement also stipulated providing advisory support by providing decisions and regulations related to digital transformation and digital government work to enable the entities of the industry and mineral resources system to activate all industrial sector services provided through the "Industrial" platform, in addition to transferring knowledge and experience in the field of digital transformation, and providing support and empowerment to implement and complete the work.
The agreement was signed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources for Digital Transformation, Engineer Mohammed bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, and the Deputy Governor of the Digital Government Authority for Business and Digital Transformation, Engineer Yasser bin Faleh Al-Shammari.
