Eastern Province Municipality set the first of next March, the deadline for owners of vacant lands targeted for fencing on some axes and main roads in Qatif Governorate to fence their lands, calling on property owners in targeted locations to quickly fence them during the remaining deadline to avoid applying the penalties for municipal violations.
The Municipality pointed out that the second phase of the fencing decision includes 89 lands on King Abdulaziz Road extending from Sehat to Anak to the center of Qatif, and 80 lands along Korni Road. The Municipality indicated that the axes and roads targeted by the fencing decision during the second phase will include 89 lands on King Abdulaziz Road extending from Sehat to Anak to the center of Qatif, and 80 lands along the Sehat Corniche Road, noting that several awareness campaigns have been launched to implement the decision, which targets owners of vacant (commercial) lands located on the main axes with high traffic density, which will be shown through a GIS program within the initiative to address visual distortion.
The Municipality of Sharqiya called on property owners in the targeted locations to quickly fence their lands during the remaining deadline to avoid the application of the penalty regulations for municipal violations.
The Eastern Municipality invited the issuance of licenses<a style="color: #993300;" href="https://amlak.net. through the "Baladi“ platform, in accordance with the models, standards and controls approved by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, before starting to monitor the compliance of owners in early March next year; to avoid fines approved by the ministry in the amount of 100 riyals per linear meter, which aims to improve the urban landscape by unifying the appearance of vacant lands surrounding buildings, reducing the accumulation of waste inside those lands, protecting them from encroachment and clarifying their ownership boundaries.
