Organized by Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing is organizing the "Transformation in Management Forum" tomorrow, Thursday, in Riyadh Infrastructure Projects (PDM) Forum will be held tomorrow, Thursday, in Riyadh, under the patronage of Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing.
The forum will be accompanied by the launch of a procedural guide Infrastructure Projects in the municipal sector, through which the Ministry seeks to achieve an ambitious transformation toward excellence, and to enhance integration to achieve leadership in infrastructure project management in Saudi cities, thereby fulfilling the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by having three Saudi cities rank among the world’s leading cities.
Four panel discussions will be held as part of the event. The first session will address the role of project management guidelines in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, while the second session will cover the studies and design phase, the third will focus on the tender phase, and the final panel discussion will address the construction phase. The forum will also be accompanied by an exhibition highlighting the key elements and procedures of the procedural guide. The Ministry will participate through the Agency for Projects and Public Health, as well as the Agency for Digital Transformation and the Agency for Urban Planning—including its UMAP and Studio divisions— the City Operators Agency, and the Internal Audit Agency, as well as the municipal administrations of Riyadh, Jeddah, the Eastern Province, the Holy Capital, and Madinah.
The Saudi Council of Engineers, the Saudi Contractors Authority, and the Project Management Institute (PMI) will also participate, along with a number of international consulting firms in the fields of infrastructure, construction, and building, as well as technology companies specializing in infrastructure services.
