The the Pilgrims" Housing Committee in the Holy City that the period for issuing permits for homes designated to house pilgrims has been extended until the end of the current month of Sha’ban 1444 AH.
The Committee called on all citizens and those wishing to rent out their homes to promptly visit the approved engineering offices to complete the procedures for issuing permits for their buildings.
The committee clarified that it continues to accept applications through engineering consulting firms accredited by the Holy Capital Municipality and the Civil Defense, which conduct inspections of pilgrim housing to verify compliance with the requirements set forth in the regulations and to issue a certificate confirming such compliance, upon which the Committee will issue the housing permit, Citizens may visit any of these offices to review the required conditions and expedite the issuance of their permits.
In turn, the Secretariat urged all building owners wishing to rent out their properties to comply with all requirements and meet all safety and security standards as stipulated in the regulations governing construction and safety requirements, and to expedite the application and issuance of permits to save time and avoid delays and congestion.
