The Saudi Ministry of Housing confirmed that 120,000 applicants for Real Estate Development Fund loans do not own land and that they can benefit from projects carried out in partnership between the ministry and the private sector.

Sources indicated that the Ministry of Housing relies on the private sector for more than 60 percent of its projects, as it is a sector that possesses experience, flexibility, knowledge, and management expertise, in addition to the Ministry’s resources in financing, legislation, and the list of eligible applicants, to reduce the gap between supply and demand for housing projects.
