The Riyadh region accounted for 71.5% of the orders mortgage release applications, with 27,021 applications out of a total of 37,800 received by the courts during the past ten months of the current Hijri year, at an average of 126 applications per day.
Mecca and Medina
Mecca ranked second with 3,426 applications, while the number of mortgage release requests in Madinah reached 1,339, followed by the Eastern Province with 2,092 requests, the Qassim Region with 1,447 requests, and the Northern Border Region with 178 requests.
21 Million E-Services
The Ministry of Justice noted that more than 21 million e-services were processed during the same period. The portal features a classification of numerous services by category to make it easier for users to access judicial services, the most prominent of which include: judicial, enforcement, real estate, powers of attorney and declarations, social cases, licensing services, and others.
150 judicial services
The portal offers approximately 150 judicial services that users can access through simple, user-friendly steps, saving them time and effort. These include responding to questions and requests from the judicial department, exchanging briefs, requesting extensions for pleadings, and participating in virtual court hearings via the e-litigation service. The portal also provides its services through the “Najiz” app, available in all app stores.
217,000 users on the Tadaari platform
The Ministry noted that the total number of beneficiaries of the services of “Tadari” platform reached approximately 217,000 beneficiaries over three months, while the platform held more than 127,000 “remote” reconciliation sessions during the same period.
The “Tadari” platform enables remote dispute resolution without requiring the parties to the dispute to visit reconciliation offices, with the aim of facilitating the process for beneficiaries and ensuring easy access to the service. The reconciliation documents issued by the platform are enforceable instruments that can be enforced through the enforcement judiciary in the event of a breach of the agreements set forth in the document.
