A high-ranking official at the Turkish Embassy has warned Saudis not to fall into the trap of fraud in the real estate sector in his country due to their reliance on agents of unrecognized real estate companies and offices or those that violate Turkish regulations.

With the increase in Saudi tourists in Turkey during the summer vacation, the Turkish Consul General in Jeddah through the press directed Saudi investors in the real estate sector in his country to refer to the consulate to give them the companies and real estate institutions known and accredited by the Turkish government, and the Turkish Consul indicated that there are some cases in which Saudis were exposed to fraud operations after they wanted to buy real estate in Istanbul or other Turkish cities.
