The delegation from Public Authority for Real Estate in the first Qatar Real Estate Forum was briefed on the experience of the Qatari Ministry of Justice in the ”Real Estate Registry” during the official visit by the Authority headed by Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, CEO of the Authority.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Real Estate Registration and Documentation Affairs at the Qatari Ministry of Justice, Saeed Abdullah Al-Suwaidi, gave a presentation on the experience of applying the SIKK program for real estate registration and documentation services, and the updates that the program witnessed during the recent period, which resulted in reducing the time for real estate transactions.

The delegation was briefed during the visit. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the real estate registration systems of the Qatari Ministry of Justice and its mechanism to keep pace with the digital transformation plans, as well as ways of joint cooperation in the fields of transferring expertise between the two entities.

It is noteworthy that the real estate registry project, which is supervised by the General Authority for Real Estate, has recently started in the Saudi capital Riyadh using aerial survey techniques and geospatial data, and the Real Estate Registry Company has issued the first title deeds that include the data and descriptions of the property, its condition, rights and obligations and all real estate transactions that occur on it linked to the geographical coordinates of the properties, to be the basis for the registration of ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it in order to contribute to the sustainability and promotion of the real estate sector and its main components.
