Data from Indicators that the value of real estate transactions for the first week of June fell to 6.8% compared to the last week of May; reaching 3.2 billion riyals. Economic analysts attributed this decline to a drop in the value of transactions in both the residential and commercial sectors.

58.2% of the transactions were residential

The data revealed the value of residential sector transactions for this week, which amounted to 1.8 billion riyals; accounting for 58.2% of the total weekly real estate transaction value, down 6.2% from the previous week.

0.9 billion riyals in commercial sector transactions

As for the commercial sector, the value of its transactions at the end of the first week of June accounted for 28% of the total transactions, reaching 0.9 billion riyals—a decrease of 21.1% from the last week of May.

Rise in the Agricultural and Industrial Sectors Index

The total value of transactions in the agricultural and industrial sectors reached 440 million riyals, or 13.8% of the total transaction value, up by 2.7%.
