His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, reviewed the development project “A Home in 30 Days, Built by Saudis,“ which aims to transfer and localize construction and building technologies and transform the concept of traditional construction methods.

This came during his meeting with the President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology “KACST,” Dr. Munir bin Mahmoud Al-Desouki, to discuss opportunities to strengthen joint cooperation and maximize the benefits of national laboratory projects, innovation hubs, and their initiatives in the sectors of energy, industry, the environment, sustainability, and the economy of the future.

The project contributes to reducing construction costs by 23% and increasing the production capacity for residential units by 5,000 units per year in partnership with the private sector.
