His Excellency the Minister of Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, urged all employees to continue working diligently to achieve an ambitious housing vision that will contribute to the advancement and development of this sector and serve the nation and its citizens through various programs and plans covering all regions of the Kingdom andaim to provide suitable housing for all citizens.

This came during the Eid celebration held by the Ministry of Housing last Wednesday on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, attended by the Director General of the Real Estate Development Fund, Engineer Yusuf Al-Zaghibi, and a number of officials, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh.

In his speech delivered during the ceremony, Al-Hogail said: “The housing sector is of the utmost importance and, as such, receives the attention and care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques—may God preserve him—in an effort to develop the necessary and urgent solutions that will enable citizens to obtain suitable housing through various options. There is no doubt that citizens have high expectations of this Ministry, which was established to serve them. Citizens are the foundation of the Ministry of Housing, and all feedback motivates us to work together with the utmost seriousness to fulfill their hopes and aspirations.”

The Minister of Housing explained that the ministry possesses qualified and distinguished human resources capable of helping to overcome the difficulties facing the sector, emphasizing that the ministry’s capabilities extend beyond the financial aspect alone to include human resources as well as systems and mechanisms. He revealed that the ministry will work to develop a comprehensive action plan in the near future that includes a set of necessary plans and tasks, and defining the partnership framework with relevant sectors, whether government agencies, real estate development companies, banks, or others.
