The “Sakani” program announced that more than 3,700 free plots of land to Saudi families benefiting from the program during September and October of this year, via the Sakani website and app in various regions of the Kingdom.
The program clarified that the plots made available online were distributed across several regions of the Kingdom. The free plots available to Saudi families included 2,361 plots in the Crown Prince’s (Al-Narges) in the Makkah region, 1,006 plots in the Al-Majma’ah and Afif governorates in the Riyadh region, and 421 plots in the Eastern Province in the Baqiq and Al-Nayriyah governorates.
The program confirmed that it will continue to offer more plots of land in the coming period across various regions of the Kingdom through the “Sakani” website and app, where plots can be reserved online after selecting the appropriate land and contracts can be issued without the need to visit a Ministry branch. It noted that these steps are part of efforts to provide citizens with more options, enabling them to obtain suitable housing that meets their needs.
This is part of joint efforts to improve housing affordability in order to achieve the goals of the Housing Program—one of the programs under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 — by making it possible for families to own suitable housing through the provision of a variety of housing products and financing solutions for beneficiaries.
