With a budget of 22 million riyals, the General Directorate of Parks and Landscape Architecture at the Eastern Province Municipality has constructed a number of parks, walkways, and plazas as part of the first phase in several neighborhoods of Dammam. Mohammed Al-Safyan, Director General of Public Relations and Media and media spokesperson for the Eastern Province Municipality, explained that the municipality’s General Directorate of Parks has constructed parks, walkways, and plazas in several neighborhoods of the Eastern Province under the direct supervision of the respective municipal authorities. This constitutes the first phase, and the project for one year.

Al-Safyan emphasized that the Secretariat is very keen on establishing parks in neighborhoods, as well as walkways and plazas, to serve citizens and residents.
