Housing Minister Renews Call on the Engineers Association to Help Solve the Housing Crisis

His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Housing, renewed his call to the Saudi Council of Engineers to submit proposals and observations that would contribute to the development and advancement of the housing sector and help overcome various obstacles. Al-Hogail noted that joint cooperation between the two entities yields numerous positive results.

This came during his meeting yesterday with the president and members of the Saudi Engineers Association at the ministry’s headquarters, where the meeting affirmed the need to strengthen cooperation with the Saudi Council of Engineers, as it is one of the key stakeholders in the Kingdom’s housing sector and includes a number of distinguished professionals in the field of engineering.

Al-Hogail praised the role of the Saudi Council of Engineers as one of the nation’s most esteemed national bodies, given its pool of professional and qualified experts; and therefore, cooperation with it is of the utmost importance in achieving the Ministry’s goal of enabling citizens in all regions of the Kingdom to own suitable housing of high quality and with diverse options, and working to achieve an optimal balance between supply and demand in the housing market.”
