It was revealed that Housing Program that 90,837 families have moved into their homes since the beginning of this year through last November, while 93,622 Saudi families have benefited from the housing program, as part of ongoing efforts to provide a range of housing products and diverse financing solutions that contribute to achieving the goals of the Housing Program—one of the programs under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – by raising the homeownership rate for Saudi families to 70 percent by 2030.

The program clarified in a statement that the number of beneficiary households from the program in October reached 11,073 households, while the number of Saudi families who moved into their first homes that same month reached 8,122, taking advantage of the optional support packages offered by “Sakani” to Saudi families. These packages provide beneficiaries with flexible and diverse solutions by offering immediate, non-repayable support to recipients of ready-to-move-in housing units, units under construction, and self-built homes, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and financing entities such as banks, financial institutions, and real estate developers.

He noted that these packages and diverse options underscore “Sakani’s” commitment to continued housing support and the importance of varied financing and housing options to accelerate the pace at which Saudi families can become homeowners.

The program invited Saudi families wishing to become homeowners to explore the projects and housing units available for online reservation by visiting the ”Sakani” app or website from various regions of the Kingdom, as part of the ongoing effort to provide diverse housing options for Saudi families that meet their aspirations and needs.

The “Sakani” website and app offer a variety of housing facilities and services, including real estate advisors, the issuance of real estate transaction tax certificates for first homes, access to quotes from financing institutions, the electronic issuance of land contracts, as well as access to architectural design services, ”Certified Contractors,” online financing services, and the ”Real Estate Marketplace.”
