The the Al-Baha Regional Secretariat and its affiliated municipalities issued 3,406 building permits for various sectors in 2023, in addition to issuing 6,803 commercial licenses and 1,703 excavation permits.

The Secretariat carries out its work in accordance with the strategy of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, which is based on providing services to residents in a convenient and flexible manner tailored to their needs according to specific criteria, and facilitating access to building permits through the “Baladi” online platform, in accordance with procedures that ensure the safety of residential and commercial buildings and their compliance with technical specifications set by the municipalities.
