The General Assembly elected the Arab Federation for Construction and Real Estate Development Dr. Lathaq bin Luwaish Al-Otaibi, President of the Federation, which includes 18 Arab countries.
Al-Otaibi expressed his appreciation for this confidence, stressing that the Union, with its councils and specialized committees, will work within the system of joint Arab action to achieve its ambition to open horizons of cooperation with Arab action institutions in the Arab League and with the relevant government agencies and private sector companies concerned with construction, reconstruction and real estate development in all Arab countries.
For his part, the Director of the Arab Federation for Construction and Real Estate Development, Dr. Luwaish Al-Otaibi, said. For his part, Dr. Raed Al-Jabouri, Director of the Department of Organizations and Federations in the Economic Affairs Sector of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, said that the Union can be an effective partner in the system of joint Arab action to promote development in general and real estate development in particular at the Arab level and contribute to finding innovative solutions for real estate and urban development in the Arab region.
The Arab Federation of Builders and Developers (AFBD) is one of the most influential organizations in the Arab world. The Arab Union for Building and Development Real Estate is specialized in real estate development and is the only one officially registered in the forum of specialized qualitative Arab unions of the League of Arab States.
