The National Platform for Charitable Work, ”Ihsan Platform,” honored the “Rushon” for its outstanding charitable work at its annual ceremony, which was recently held under the gracious patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Governor of the Riyadh Region, as well as a number of Their Royal Highnesses the Princes, Their Excellencies the Ministers, religious scholars, and a gathering of prominent philanthropists.
Ghada Al-Ramian, the Group’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, accepted the award on behalf of the “Roshon” Group from His Highness the Governor of the Riyadh Region.
The ceremony honored “Roshon” as a Platinum-level benefactor on the “Ihsan” in 2023, continuing the journey of charity and giving that began with the platform during the National Charitable Work Campaign in the blessed month of Ramadan in the year 1444 AH.
The “Roshon” Group collaborates with the “Ihsan” platform through its social responsibility program “Yahyaak” in a wide range of community development programs for eligible groups, including home renovation and maintenance, support for health services such as mobile clinics, dialysis machines, and the National Breast Cancer Campaign, support and rehabilitation services for people with disabilities and those on the autism spectrum, the “Preserving Grace“ program, orphan sponsorship, family assistance, Eid gifts for children, and support for various community and volunteer programs and initiatives across the Kingdom.
Ghada Al-Ramayan, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, expressed her deep gratitude, saying: ”I am honored to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may God protect him—for his generous support and immense generosity, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may God protect him—for his generous patronage of the ceremony, as well as to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Governor of the Riyadh Region, as well as His Excellency Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Ihsan Platform; His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority; and the distinguished guests present at this event.
It noted that this recognition from Ihsan’s partners, and standing side by side with such a large number of major donors to the platform, is a great honor, noting that Roshen’s support for the Ihsan Platform reflects its commitment to its corporate values of responsibility, empowerment, and opportunity through various partnerships, as well as its pursuit of making a positive impact on the quality of life across the Kingdom.
Al-Ramyan expressed her gratitude to the Roshen team and everyone who has joined the journey with the Ihsan platform, and her appreciation for their efforts and contributions toward creating a positive impact on community development.
Roshen had formalized its partnership with Ihsan through a memorandum of understanding signed in March 2023, making it a cornerstone of Roshen’s broader community initiative launched under the umbrella of the “Yahyaik” program, whose efforts extend to supporting a diverse range of development initiatives across various regions of the Kingdom, as well as sponsoring sporting, cultural, community development, and health events and initiatives that promote individual well-being, contribute to improving quality of life, and advance corporate social responsibility in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
