Foundation Day: The Depth of Civilizational and Cultural History

On this glorious day, the day the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was founded, we all stand in reverence and admiration to honor the memory of the founder, Imam Muhammad bin Saud, who laid the foundations of this blessed nation and laid the first brick for the unity of this country.

National Day is a day of pride and honor for every Saudi citizen, as it symbolizes the depth of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s civilizational and cultural history. Since the founding of the first Saudi state, it has been moving steadily toward progress and prosperity, thanks to its wise leadership and loyal people.

We, the citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fully appreciate the value of our homeland, and therefore we are committed to preserving it and doing everything in our power to ensure its elevation and prosperity. We love our homeland and take pride in belonging to it.

We renew our pledge of loyalty and obedience to our rulers: the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

We pray to God to protect our leaders and our country from all harm.

May the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia prosper year after year.
