The agreement was signed by the Ministry's Undersecretary for Developmental Housing and Community Participation, Talal bin Mohammed Al Khenini, on the part of the Ministry, Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Karidis, Secretary General of Sakan Foundation, and Talal bin Othman Al Omar, Secretary General of the Fund, and aims to provide 700 housing units for the most needy families of the Fund's beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry's Undersecretary for Developmental Housing and Community Participation. The Secretary General of Sakan explained that this agreement aims to achieve family stability for beneficiaries, increase the rate of home ownership by citizens, and increase the contribution of the non-profit sector to the local output by enhancing cooperation and developing innovative partnerships with relevant authorities to achieve efficiency in providing services to beneficiaries of the developmental housing sector.
The agreement aims to provide 700 housing units for the most needy families of the Fund's beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom. The Community Development Housing Corporation (Sakan) is a private organization whose Board of Trustees is chaired by His Excellency Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Haqeel, which seeks to stimulate giving and community participation through innovative initiatives such as "Good Housing" and “Solution for Housing Innovation”, and works to pioneer and empower the non-profit housing sector to provide sustainable solutions.
