Real estate expert Matar Al-Shammari, the main factors that have contributed to the rise in residential rental prices in Saudi Arabia in recent times.

Al-Shammari said in an interview on Al-Ikhbariya TV that the decline in demand for mortgage financing is one of the main reasons behind the rise in residential rental prices in the Kingdom. He added that the current challenge facing individuals is the rise in real estate prices, which has led citizens to abandon the idea of homeownership.

The real estate expert also noted that among the key factors contributing to the rise in rental prices are population growth, the presence of large regional companies in Riyadh, and the promotion of tourism and events, and the trend among many young people to invest in residential apartments has also contributed to the rise in rents.
