Nafaa Charitable Society's Board of Directors, Dr. Khaled Zain Abdullah Baghmal
<Dr. Khalid Zain Abdullah Baghmal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, appreciated the support of the wise government for this program, which fulfills the hopes of many beneficiaries of charitable societies through the development housing program to secure housing for the neediest families in society, such as needy families, families of prisoners, divorced women, widows and orphans.
He praised the support and empowerment of development housing for charitable associations by providing the required housing units so that the associations, for their part, deliver, manage and operate the housing for the deserving families.
For his part, the Executive Director of the Association Abdulrahman bin Saad Al-Juhani revealed that the inspection of housing units is carried out after nominating them according to specific requirements and then submitting them to the Ministry to complete the procedures of ownership contracts through the Real Estate Development Fund until the stage of handing over the keys to the beneficiaries.
Al-Juhani pointed out that the total number of those who have been housed until today is 974 families, including 793 families from slum dwellers, noting that these housing units represent 69 buildings in the Makkah region, including 61 buildings in Jeddah, 3 buildings in the Crown Prince scheme in the Holy Capital, and 5 buildings in Raniyah governorate.
Al-Juhani said that the housing units were built in the Makkah region. Within its strategic plans and in line with Vision 2030, Nafaa Charitable Society signed an agreement with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, represented by the Development Housing Program, with the aim of integrating work with the Society and seeking to diversify its services in all areas of charitable work.
