Signed The General Authority for Surveying and Geospatial Information and the General Authority for Real Estate signed a memorandum of cooperation yesterday, with the aim of improving the planning of joint projects, unifying efforts, avoiding duplication, and increasing the efficiency of government spending.

The memorandum includes a commitment by both agencies to strengthen cooperation on surveying and geospatial projects, exchange geospatial data in accordance with approved policies and standards,

exchanging technical consultations and supporting research activities; exploring opportunities for investment partnerships in the surveying, geospatial information, and real estate sectors; as well as coordinating on qualification and licensing requirements for practitioners engaged in real estate registration in the surveying and geospatial fields, and developing national competencies in shared areas, as well as cooperation in organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops, and raising public awareness of the roles and responsibilities of both entities.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed on behalf of the General Authority for Surveying and Geospatial Information by the Authority’s President, Dr. Eng. Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Sayel, while the memorandum was signed on behalf of General Authority for Real Estate CEO Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad.
