71 billion riyals worth of real estate transactions in Saudi Arabia during April

Data from from the Real Estate Exchange, that the value of real estate transactions in April totaled 71 billion riyals, a decrease of 49 billion riyals compared to transactions in the previous month.

According to the latest data from the Real Estate Exchange, 35,000 properties were traded last month, with a total area of 504 million square meters and an average price of 5,078 riyals per square meter, while the highest price recorded was 3.58 million riyals per square meter. The types of transactions varied, including gifts, sales, waqf, financed transactions, renovations, and mortgage releases.

It is worth noting that real estate transactions during the month of March totaled 120 billion riyals, involving the sale of approximately 52,000 properties with a total area of 239 million square meters, at an average price of 3,625 riyals per square meter, with the highest price recorded at 1.13 million riyals per square meter.

On a year-over-year basis, real estate transactions rose by 3,431%, with the value of transactions reaching 16 billion riyals in April 2023, involving approximately 31,000 properties, with a total area of 166 million square meters and an average price of 959 riyals per square meter. The highest price recorded was 211,640 riyals per square meter.
