“Manshaat” Organizes a Workshop as Part of a Program to Develop National Talent for Entry into the Construction Sector

The first workshop, attended by 75 participants, aimed to train entrepreneurs and connect them with major construction companies.

Organized by General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Manshaat”yesterday, in collaboration with the Saudi Contractors Authority, organized the first workshop as part of the “Development of National Talent for Entry into the Contracting Sector” program, with the participation of 75 beneficiaries, in the presence of the Authority’s Deputy Governor for Planning and Development, Engineer Sulaiman Al-Tarif; the Head of Sector Development at the Saudi Contractors Authority, Taha Al-Safi; and a number of experts in this field, at the Enterprise Support Center in Riyadh.

The program aims to train entrepreneurs to enable them to enter the construction sector and connect them with major companies in accordance with global best practices. The program consists of several stages, beginning with the completion of a training program at the Manashaat Academy, followed by attending workshops at the Enterprise Support Center featuring leading experts and specialists in the construction sector, then completing courses offered by the Saudi Contractors Authority in the areas of occupational health and safety and project management, and, finally, connecting them with the largest companies specializing in the sector to benefit from the expertise and skills offered to entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The training program includes a number of tracks designed to support entrepreneurs in growing their startup projects, including feasibility studies, steps for establishing a business, and factors driving the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as risk and operations management, product and service development, preparing proposals for competitions and tenders, and other topics that support participants.
