Through the Housing Support Program from the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, financing for the most needy citizens to help them own suitable and appropriate housing. This financing is provided in accordance with several conditions and regulations set by the Ministry.
The Sakani Platform also offers various forms of support to citizens and families most in need, a platform established by the Kingdom’s authorities to help citizens improve their standard of living and secure suitable housing, in addition to providing housing support monthly to beneficiaries on the 24th of each Gregorian month, and the platform also grants them the right to appeal the support.
Steps to check your housing support status
To check your eligibility for the housing support program, you can follow these steps via the “Sakani‘ electronic platform:
- Access the Sakani platform website: Start by visiting the platform’s official website online.
- Log in: Use your National ID number and password to log in to your account.
- Enter the CAPTCHA: Enter the CAPTCHA code displayed to verify that you are not a robot.
- Go to the Services section: After logging in, go to the ’Services“ section on the home page.
- Select the Housing Support option: From the list of available services, select ”Housing Support.“
- Submit a new request: Click the ”Submit a New Request“ option to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required information: Carefully fill out the form with your personal information and the required documents.
- Review and agree to the terms: Carefully read the eligibility requirements and agree to them.
- Submit the application: After verifying the accuracy of the information provided, click the ”Submit" button.
- Wait for review: After submitting the application, it will be reviewed by the relevant authorities, and you will receive notification of the result via email or phone.
Eligibility Criteria for Housing Support Financing
Certain conditions must be met, which we will explain in the following points:
- The applicant must be a Saudi national.
- The applicant must be at least 25 years old.
- The applicant must not own any assets or real estate.
- The applicant must be a resident of Saudi Arabia.
- The applicant must not be receiving any other type of government support.
- This must be the applicant’s first time applying for housing support, as an individual is eligible to receive this support only once.
- Divorced women are eligible for support, provided that at least two years have passed since the divorce.
- Widows are eligible for housing support if they have children under the age of 25.
- Submit all required documents and paperwork proving the applicant’s marital and financial status.
Steps to Appeal Housing Support
- Access the Sakani platform’s website.
- Log in to the platform by entering your username and password.
- Go to Housing Services, select Eligibility, and then click the Objection option.
- A form will appear with some required information. The user must fill out this form with accurate information and take care to avoid errors.
