Al-Hogail launches “Jodak meets” campaign to provide housing units for those in need

The campaign aims to provide 1,000 housing units during the Hajj season for the neediest families and promote the role of developmental housing.

His Excellency Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Community Development Housing Corporation (Sakan), launched today the “Jawood Yalabi” campaign on the Jawood Housing platform, which aims to provide adequate housing to the neediest families in various regions of the Kingdom, as an extension of the objectives of its previous campaign in the holy month of Ramadan, “Jawood of Regions” which achieved more than 4,939 housing units for development housing beneficiaries in all regions of the Kingdom.

His Excellency His Excellency expressed his thanks to the supporters and contributors Jood Housing Platform, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - pointing out that the "Jawdak Yalbi" campaign comes to confirm the role of Sakan Foundation and Jawd Housing Platform in providing a pioneering role in the development housing sector and providing sustainable housing solutions that empower the neediest families throughout the year and enhance housing giving.

The Secretary-General of Sakan said that the campaign is a continuation of the goals of the previous Ramadan campaign “Jawdak Yalbi”. For his part, the Secretary General of the Foundation Developmental Housing Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Kridis said that the Foundation works to achieve family stability for beneficiaries, increase the rate of home ownership by citizens and increase the contributions of the non-profit sector to the local product.

Al-Kridis said that the platform aims to provide family stability for the beneficiaries, increase the rate of home ownership by citizens, and increase the contribution of the non-profit sector to the GDP. It is noteworthy that the Joud Housing platform is one of the initiatives of the Community Development Housing Corporation (Sakan), which aims to engage community members in community development programs and achieve social solidarity, according to a controlled mechanism that ensures the delivery of community contributions in development housing to its beneficiaries.
