The General Real Estate Authority stated that Real Estate Brokerage System has enabled real estate brokers to determine the sales or rental commission based on the agreement between the parties in the contract.
In an infographic posted on its “X” social media account, the Authority outlined nine steps for creating and documenting a brokerage contract between the broker and the owner via the brokerage platform, as follows:
- Log in to the brokerage platform.
- Select the “Broker Contracts” service.
- Create a new brokerage contract.
- Fill in the property information.
- Enter personal information and provide ownership documents and a power of attorney, if applicable.
- Specify the party type as "Owner" and the scope of the contract.
- Specify the value, the contract’s start and end dates, and the dispute resolution authority.
- Specify the payment method, bank account number, and commission for the broker.
- Confirm the accuracy of the information and submit the contract for approval.
