The Municipality of the Eastern Province

The Eastern Municipality explained that the updated guide to the procedures for issuing the certificate, which is free for 3 years, includes 19 violations that buildings must be free of in order to issue a certificate of compliance through the “Baladi” platform, which allows authorizing a qualified engineering office to complete the procedures for issuing a certificate of compliance for the building.

The Eastern Municipality confirmed that the updated guide includes 19 violations from which buildings are required to be free of them. The Municipality emphasized that the issuance of the certificate is mandatory for all owners of buildings located on the targeted streets and roads and usufruct owners, and that failure to issue it exposes the building to a violation and a fine.
