Al-Ahsa Municipality transfers more than 291 thousand tons of construction waste to the engineering environmental landfill

During the second quarter of this year, Ahsa Municipality transported 291,757 tons of construction waste and 167,209 tons of household waste to the Al-Ahsa Environmental Engineering Landfill.

16,338 tons of solid waste were sorted and recycled at the waste sorting and recycling station, including 13512 tons of organic materials, 2106 tons of paper and cardboard, 371 tons of plastics, and 348 tons of metals.
