Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the launch of the guide. The guide is divided into two main sections, including the financial compliance section, which includes 9 basic violations related to the obligations of mining license holders, such as late submission of declarations or payment of fees, in addition to the regulatory compliance section, which includes 26 violations related to the obligations of mining license holders, such as exploiting materials outside the license boundaries or not allowing inspectors to enter the license site during official working hours.
The Ministry aims to promote compliance with the regulations, educate licensees on the system's regulations and inform them of the procedures followed, which include the principle of warning before imposing penalties.
