During the month of June, Jazan Municipality, represented by the Abu Arish Municipality, carried out 250 construction control tours within the residential neighborhoods in the governorate and its affiliated villages to monitor construction violations and ensure compliance with municipal instructions, within its efforts to control buildings and facilities, reduce construction violations, and raise the quality level of projects.

The Municipality of Jazan Region, represented by the Municipality of Abu Arish, conducted 250 construction control tours during the month of June. The mayor of Abu Arish, Engineer Ahmed Hikmi, explained that the field teams issued 64 construction-related violations during the tours, indicating that the number of approved construction license applications reached 50 applications, while the number of occupancy certificates reached 22 certificates.

He pointed out that the control tours are part of the efforts undertaken by the municipality to preserve the public appearance and remove any violations, by organizing and following up the implementation of construction works for buildings, ensuring their conformity with the licenses issued by the municipality, adhering to all building specifications, limiting violations of all kinds, and preserving the urban environment.
