Organized by the General Real Estate Authority “Real Estate Brokerage Forum” and the accompanying exhibition next Wednesday at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, marking the one-year anniversary of the law’s entry into force. The event will feature a select group of experts in the real estate sector and specialists in real estate technology who will discuss opportunities and the future of the real estate market.
The official spokesperson for the Authority, Taysir bin Muhammad Al-Mufarraj, stated that the Real Estate Brokerage Regulation has contributed to the sustainability of real estate assets, the protection of clients“ rights, and the enhancement of transparency in the real estate market, and that the Real Estate Brokerage Forum ” in its first edition is part of ongoing efforts to develop services and transactions within the sector and to build a robust, advanced real estate sector that contributes to economic growth and fulfills the aspirations of the sector’s comprehensive strategy. The forum will include ”a number of panel discussions addressing the impact, opportunities, and challenges of real estate platforms on the future of the real estate market, in addition to highlighting real estate platforms with successful track records in real estate brokerage.
Al-Mufarraj noted that Real Estate Brokerage Forum will be accompanied by an exhibition showcasing real estate activities, special sections to serve users of the real estate brokerage platform and the Real Estate Institute’s services, as well as a section for receiving questions and inquiries and providing partner services, thereby enhancing the dissemination of the real estate sector’s messages and raising awareness of real estate regulations and legislation, as well as the Authority’s policies and strategies, guided by the principles of transparency and increased community participation, to achieve the sector’s development and sustainability.
It should be noted that the "Real Estate Brokerage System" came into effect on 25 Jumada al-Awwal 1444 AH, corresponding to January 18, 2023, and aims to regulate real estate brokerage and services, provide innovative and high-quality real estate services to beneficiaries, support the activities of real estate brokers and beneficiaries, and contribute to the sustainability of real estate assets. The “Real Estate Brokerage Forum ” is intended for the general public, those interested in the real estate sector, real estate professionals, and practitioners engaged in real estate brokerage, consulting, and analysis, so they may benefit from the topics covered in the panel discussions and the accompanying exhibition, thereby raising awareness regarding real estate transactions.
