The real estate sector and those interested in real estate are eagerly awaiting the participation of 37 leading real estate projects from 15 different countries in the final voting for the «Cityscape Emerging Markets Awards,» which opens this morning at the Dubai World Trade Center on the sidelines of the «Cityscape Global» exhibition.
Observers are watching the «Cityscape Emerging Markets Awards» with great regional and global interest, as the awards highlight elite real estate projects and honor the sector’s leaders. The winners in the 13 categories of the Cityscape Emerging Markets Awards—which, in this edition, focus on sustainable trends in projects—will be announced during a ceremony held on the sidelines of the «Cityscape Global» exhibition.
The 13 awards cover both completed projects and those still under construction, across the categories of «Best Commercial Project» «Best Mixed-Use Project,» «Best Hospitality and Leisure Project,» «Best Cultural, Social, and Tourism Project,» «Best Residential Project,» «Best Retail Project,» and «Best Sustainable Project.»
For her part, Holly Chant, a member of the awards« judging panel, said in a press release in Dubai that this year’s awards will focus on the theme of »sustainability,« which is essential to humanity’s future success, and that the responsibility for implementing it lies with real estate development companies.
She described the quality of entries in the sustainability category for this year’s Cityscape Emerging Markets Awards as »excellent, as the projects seem to better understand the importance of sustainable construction; they are not just ‘green,’ but are also outstanding projects from the perspective of real estate development fundamentals.”
